Halo 4's Limited Edition Steelbook Revealed

Limited Edition Content:

War Games Map Packs: The Limited Edition includes access to nine maps - three future competitive multiplayer map packs, each including three locations, available for download post-launch on Xbox Live.
Specialisations: Receive early access to six Specialisations, available at launch on Xbox Live, and use them, one at a time, to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career. In addition to gaining access to new ranks, Specialisations unlock new customisation options.
The Special Edition of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, a 90-minute extended version of the live-action digital series which will take fans back to the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war, when the Master Chief inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC�s greatest vessel ever: the UNSC Infinity.

The Limited Edition also contains the UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet which includes a Spartan armour customisation schematic, an introduction to the massive ship UNSC Infinity, and insight into what it means to be one of humanity�s finest warriors: The Spartan IVs.

That's a lot of additional content for the Halo 4 Limited Edition, and with Spartan Ops co-op and loads more new stuff planned for the game, Master Chief's comeback looks set to be a massive event for the end of the year. Metro: Last Light Countdown Clock Appears, Live-Action Movie Next Week

A countdown timer has appeared for THQ�s upcoming shooter sequel Metro: Last Light. Set to end next Thursday, the website promises a live action movie upon completion.

We saw Metro: Last light, the moody 4A developed shooter, last year, but since then it has been pretty quiet. Looks like THQ are finally set to ramp up promotion before the game�s (delayed) 2013 release.

We�ll be getting our hands on the game around E3 time, so look out for our advance verdict on one of gaming�s most interesting series.

As ya'll know Capcom is my favorite game franchise so I always check to see whats coming out in the future. Maybe ya'll have heard about this because this was said awhile back but if you somehow missed this like me they are going release a version of this crossover Tekken style. I am beyond excited because if it looks like Tekken 6, where 9 times of 10 I'm sure it will. I know the Street Fighter characters will look real good gameplay wise. I mean most of us have played Street Fighter EX, so yeah. There isn't a release date yet but I have a feeling it will be released some time late next year or you never know, it could be around the release of the 1rst version.

Would you buy a PS Vita?

So, I was doing my gaming news round and I saw that Shigeru Miyamoto commented on the PS Vita and how he equated Sony's launch of the handheld with that of Nintendo's 3DS. The comments are sensible and pretty much sums how a lot of people felt about the Vita, myself included. When you look at both launches, they're definitely similar.

The Vita is one sexy piece of tech. It's not nice, fucking nice. The problem is, I just don't see any reason to purchase one right now. I hope to pick one up soon, but that will be when the library starts to build up. I really don't want to see the Vita fail because of all the potential is has.

Anyone around here plan on getting a Vita?

Crysis 3 Officially Announced For Spring 2013

EA has just this very second dropped the official announcement for Crysis 3, following the accidental leaking of listings for the game last week, showing the sleek Nanosuit-wearing hero Prophet, sporting a high-tech crossbow. Now today sees a proper reveal for the game, with details and stuff, as well as a pre-order offer.

Crysis 3 will see you returning to the Big Apple to the New York 'Liberty Dome' in 2047, where Prophet will find himself embarking upon a mission of revenge after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation's motives for building quarantined Nanodromes.

With the public told that they're for the protection of citizens and the cleansing of the alien Ceph remnants, you find out that they are in fact an attempt to grab land and technology, as Cell strive for world domination. It's up to Prophet to stop them.

Each of the seven domes - known as the Seven Wonders - will be completely unique and distinct, with Prophet facing various dangers in each Nanodrome. Thankfully, he'll have his trusty composite bow, devastating alien tech and of course, an enhanced Nanosuit, as he becomes the ultimate hunter.

In addition to today's unveiling, EA has also announced pre-order bonuses for Crysis 3, with the Hunter Edition of the game granting the signature bow weapon and attachments, the Hunter Nanosuit module, a level 5 XP boost in multiplayer, a unique bow skin and three additional dog tags. Selected retailers will also offer the following:

Stalker Pack – Includes the base game, all Hunter Edition content and the following early multiplayer unlocks: for players who like to stalk their prey from the shadows the Stalker Pack provides early multiplayer access to the deadly semi-auto Jackal shotgun. This powerful, close-range shotgun comes with a unique silencer attachment, custom weapon skin and two exclusive themed in-game dog tags
Overkill Pack – Includes the base game, all Hunter Edition content and the following early multiplayer unlocks: the Overkill Pack features early multiplayer access to the Typhoon assault weapon and skin. Spewing 500 rounds a second, the Typhoon gives players the ability to go guns blazing to take back the Liberty Dome. Also included are two exclusive Overkill themed in-game dog tags.
Predator Pack – Includes the base game, all the Hunter Edition content and the following early multiplayer unlocks: the Predator Pack delivers early multiplayer access to the Feline submachine gun and exclusive camo. With an extremely fast rate of fire and a 60 round magazine the Feline is highly effective and deadly, at short range.

Yes people. This is the beginning of Kratos. We've seen flashblacks of Kratos past in previous God Of War games and now we get to experience his entire past for ourselves. As much as I love the God Of War games its going to take sometime getting use to playing as Kratos without what we have grown accustom to. I'm sure the creators know this so whatever weapons or powers he will have, hopefully the game will still be as sick as the others but you know what. Now that I think about it, based upon the whole concept of the story, I wouldn't doubt if the creators did take the action down a couple of levels so we can truly feel the difference between him than and now. Their main focus may be the story line more than powers etc.. I know some of you will hate this reference but throughout the entire game you will probably feel like the beginning of every Final Fantasy game where you have almost next to nothing for your characters. What are you alls thoughts.
